Our History

Argo Investigations Agency was born on July 28, 1989 in one of the most characteristic and central areas of Rome, the Prati district, from the idea of four retired officers belonging to the Carabinieri, who having common intentions decide to put their many years of experience at the service of those who need it. The agency’s offices are located in a private building that ensures maximum discretion to those who physically enter the agency, but also ease and ease with which it is possible to reach it given the proximity to the Ottaviano tube station and with a private garage made available to our customers.

Private Investigators working in our detective agency are carefully selected also through tests aimed at evaluating specific characteristics essential to carry out the profession guaranteeing high performances. The primary goal is never disappoint those who choose our team, managing to produce evidence that can be used in court. To achieve this degree of satisfaction, each survey is carefully followed by a team of professionals with multidisciplinary skills.

We are authorized by the Prefecture of Rome to carry out investigations in the private, business, commercial and criminal defense investigations.

The agency is fully certified for the Management of the Quality System (ISO 9001) and for the Security of Information (ISO 27001) thus ensuring our customers the maximum protection of the data processed whether they are Government Bodies, Companies o Private.

Our company is a member of the most authoritative historical associations in the sector both nationally and internationally (Federpol – Italian Federation of Private Institutes for Investigations, Information and Security; WAD – World Association of Detectives).

1989

Foundation by four Carabinieri officers on leave with many years of experience in judicial police and intelligence; the military approach makes the foundations of the company strong and solid;



2000

Rita Urzia joins the company, detective holder of investigative license with thirty years of experience in administrative and management training, writer and successful woman the contribution of new perspectives expands the company’s skills



2013

Dr. Matteo Adjimi, with second level master’s degree in Criminology and Forensic Sciences, detective holder of investigative license with ten-year experience, current CEO of Argo Investigazioni, joins the company. The multidisciplinary nature of the company is consolidated, the approach to investigative sciences is further expanded.



2018

The established investigative skills combined with technical skills in the cyber world, give life to Argo Cyber, a project with a high technological and specialized component that is unique in its kind, which makes use of the contribution of highly qualified professionals, using advanced information technologies



2019

Argo opens a new office in Milan, a stone’s throw from the Duomo: “an important choice due to the desire to always be close to the many partners acquired during these 30 years of history of the detective agency” says CEO Dr. Matteo Adjimi



2020

In a difficult year, marred by a global pandemic, Argo goes on its development phase that takes on an international dimension: a new office in London is open, near Trafalgar Square, to be even closer and supportive to multinational companies and Government Bodies.



2021

“Perhaps we owe the best achievements of the mind to the passions”. This is how CEO Dr. Matteo Adjimi comments on the opening of the fourth headquarters of Argo, in Piedmont, in Turin. Change and difficulties do not slow down the agency’s business development process.


